Spot spray Reed Canary Grass (Phalaris arundinacea), Common Reed (Phragmites australis) and Johnson Grass (Sorghum halepense) located in and adjacent to the Patoka Wetlands. The use of spot spraying techniques will be necessary to avoid damage to desirable native species. Herbicide applications must be made at an appropriate time so that visible plant mortality has occurred before the individuals begin seed production. This timing of seeding may affect contract end time.
