The purpose of this sources sought is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project including interested Small Business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. Fort Wayne Air National Guard Base, Indiana intends to issue a solicitation and award of a contract to perform “Bldg. 764 Addition/Alteration."
The purpose of this requirement is to utilize government provided designs/specs/drawings to renovate 11,545 SF of and add 8,948 SF to Building 764 located at the 122d Fighter Wing in Fort Wayne, IN. The building renovation/addition work incudes roof repair, site improvements, utility work, communication support, fire suppression removal/installation, and new construction. Bid options may include Stained Concrete (in lieu of sealed concrete), Secondary Ductbank, VCT (in lieu of sealed concrete), Floor Tile (in lieu of sealed concrete), Standard floor mat (in lieu of Recessed Floor Mat), and addition of Motorized Butterfly Valve in existing Settling Tank.
The magnitude of this project is between between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing via a single PDF, a notice stating their positive intent to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 21 Feb 2023 at 1:00PM EST.
This notification, which shall not exceed seven typewritten pages, must include:
(1) positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor
(2) a completed and signed Sources Sought Information Request Form
(3) a listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry (the type of project, dollar value, contract number, location, and Government Point of Contact are to be included; indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and Point of Contact for the prime contractor)
(4) a brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract, and
(5) single project & total aggregate bonding capability in the form of a letter from the Surety.
In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
