The Federal Bureau of Prisons, FCC Terre Haute, In, is issuing combined synopsis

solicitation 15B41823Q00000028 for the replacement of the Bar Screen Rake and

Compactor the replace the existing system in the structure. The services will be

provided to the Federal Bureau of Prisons outside secure perimeter of the facility,

located at the Federal Prison Terre Haute, In. The contract type is a requirements

contract with firm-fixed unit price. An award will be made to a responsive offeror (who

submits all required submissions on time), whose past performance does not pose a risk

to the Government, and whose offer is Technically Acceptable. An offer is technically

acceptable if its technical capabilities conform to the Government's Performance Work

Statement or listed specs whichever is applicable to the buy. Award will be made to the

responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most

advantageous to the Buyer on the basis of price, technical capability,and past

performance. The performance contract period will be up to 308 calendar days after

issuance of award. Please see the attached statement of work for exact details and

qualifications. The combined synopsis solicitation will be available on September 12,

2023 and will be distributed solely through the SAM.GOV. All future information

concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed

solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to

ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of

the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions

to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on

October 13, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. EST. Additionally, a Site visit is scheduled for October 3,

2023 at 9:00 a.m. At FCC Terre Haute, 4700 Bureau Road South, Terre Haute, Indiana,

47802. All interested vendors are strongly encouraged to attend in order to assess scope

of work requested. Although encouraged to attend, this site visit is not mandatory to

quote the solicitation. Contractors doing business with the Federal Government are

advised that this solicitation includes the clause FAR 52.212-5 (Apr 2005) for

Commercial Items and System for Award Management (SAM). This clause requires all

contractors doing business with the federal government after September 30, 2003, to be

registered in the SAM database at www.sam.gov. Contractors should include their

unique identity number in their offers. The Contracting Officer will verify registration

in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award. The North

American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 221320. Pursuant to Federal

Acquisition regulation 36.204 the estimated magnitude of this acquisition is under

$250,000.00 Dollars. All Proposals/Quotations must conform to the listed specifications
