Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for Dairy Requirement. All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the industry and in compliance with all Federal and State policies and regulations. The contractor will provide services in accordance with the Statement of Work. The performance period will be for a base period from the effective date of award (EDOA) through twelve months and 12-month option periods renewal at the unilateral discretion of the government. The Government contemplates awarding indefinite delivery requirements type contract with firm fixed unit prices.



The Contractor will provide a monthly supply and delivery of dairy products for a period of 2 years. Orders will be placed via individual delivery order as needed. These services are listed in the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code Category 311511. The size standard is 1000 employees.



A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The solicitation will be made available on or about April 4, 2024 and will be distributed solely through the Sam website at http://www.sam.gov/.



Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site.
