SPECIAL NOTICE

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10, The Richard L. Roudebush VAMC , 1481 West 10th Street, Indianapolis IN 46202-2803, intends to award a sole source purchase order contract to Midmark Corporation, 10170 Penny Lane STE 300, Miamisburg, Ohio, 45342, to provide the VISN10 Richard L. Roudebush VAMC in Indiana completing the third phase of the Nutrition department remodel. This is a procurement in accordance with FAR Subpart 16.505(b)(2)(i)(B): Only one awardee is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services ordered are unique or NAICS Code 238390, Other Building Finishing Contractors, engineering, and Labor apply to this procurement. Midmark Corporation completed prior phases for this follow-on order. This procurement consists of procuring the delivery for all the components, engineering design, and labor to complete the installation.

This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. No solicitation documents are available; however, any firm that believes it that they can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 24 hours from the date of publication of this notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in enough detail to demonstrate compliance. Information must be sent electronically to dwight.petsche@va.gov. Any responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government as to whether to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received within 48 hours of publication or by December 26, 2022, 5PM or whatever is sooner to be considered.
