PRESOLICITATION NOTICE
This document serves as notification of an upcoming solicitation for a construction project Project 610A4-24-101, Remodel Building 5 for OI&T, Fort Wayne
It is the intention of the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, Fort Wayne Campus to solicit bids for the following:
The architectural and engineering (A/E) firm shall provide professional services necessary to develop 100% design for project 610A4-24-101, Remodel Building 5 for OI&T
All work to be completed at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, Fort Wayne Campus at 2121 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne IN 46805
Work to be completed within ninety (364) calendar days from notice to proceed.
Justification of Work:
The main goal of this project is to fix Building 5 deficiencies that were noted discrepancies in the 2018 VISN 10 Facility Condition Assessment and the remodel is necessary to ensure employee life safety and for the facility to remain code compliant.
This project will be procured as 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) used for this requirement is 541310, Architectural Services with a standard size of $11M. The magnitude of this construction project is between $200,000 and $400,000. Contract awardee shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, training, materials, supplies, and incidentals necessary to accomplish the work in accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications & drawings provided. The VA will issue an IFB on or about 8th May 2023 via www.sam.gov . A site visit will be scheduled prior to the closing of solicitation, and the date, time and location will be posted in the solicitation.
