FEMA Multifunction Device (MFD) Rental Indiana Local Area Set-Aside
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has a future need for rental of two multifunction devices, one color and one black and white preferred, in support of Federal disaster declaration DR-4704-IN in the state of Indiana. Devices proposed by potential vendors will be verified for security and technical acceptance by comparison to the current FEMA Technical Reference Model (TRM) list. FEMA retains hard drives of all connected devices. Anticipated period of performance is three months with three one-month options. As part of our market research, we are seeking input from qualified interested firms, particularly but not not exclusively firms qualified for FAR Part 19 socioeconomic programs, which qualify as Local Area Firms under FAR Part 26.202-1. All federal contractors are required to be registered in the Federal government System for Award Management (SAM.gov) and not be on an exclusions list; all entities not currently registered are encouraged to contact their local Small Business Development Center (SBDC) or Small Business Administration (SBA) office for registration assistance for consideration for future Federal contract opportunities.
in accordance with FAR Part 26.202-1. this opportunity is reserved for qualified firms meeting the definition of Local Firm in FAR 52.226-3. The local area for this requirement is defined as the Indiana counties of Allen, Benton, Clinton, Grant, Howard, Johnson, Lake, Morgan, Monroe, Owen, Sullivan, and White. Please note that the site services are to be performed, the Major General Emmett J. Bean Federal Center in Indianapolis, is outside the designated disaster area, in Marion County.
Due to the urgent nature of disaster response, response time will be limited. Interested firms should send email with “Multifunction Devices FEMA DR-4704-IN” in the subject line to raymond.lucas@fema.dhs.gov before noon Eastern time Friday May 19 2023. No contract or agreement is guaranteed. List company name, SAM Unique Entity Identification number (UEI; do not submit DUNS), address of principal office, phone number and email address, and FAR Part 19 socioeconomic category if applicable, and a statement certifying the firm is located within the disaster area specified. If a Request for Quotations is issued, it will be emailed to all eligible local area firms at the address provided. Non-local firms will not be considered.
